School Governance Committee
The School Governance Committee was established to act as a consultative body which although not involved in the day to day running of the school takes an interest in all aspects of the school’s life.
The aim at Mountbatten School is that the SGC become engaged in the life of the school and act as a critical friend to the school representing the parents of children at the school.
Currently the SGC aim to meet twice termly with a focus for the meetings being one as a ‘business meeting’ while the other becomes a curriculum focus where members are informed about the learning opportunities at the school and how this affects our learners.
The SGC are also consulted on:
- School Improvement Priorities
